It’s cold and dreary outside and that means I’m inside ordering random stuff from Amazon. I’ve got quite the list today of weird things from geriatric items to lounge sets, and everything in between. I’ve really been enjoying all of my heated items lately since it’s colder and my joints get stiff, so a lot of what’s in this collage is great for warming up and unwinding at the end of a cold day.
Heated Mittens for Hand Pain: So I have several of these bean bag type heating pads that you throw in the microwave. I was especially drawn to these because they are huge, heavy, and specifically for tech hand, arthritis, and trigger finger fatigue. Since I type a lot and use my phone all day, I can feel my hands at night become sore. I use these gloves and keep them on for about 20 minutes and they make the world of difference. An added bonus is that they also double as a regular heating pad, so when I’m done using them on my hands I will just throw them on my lower back or abdomen and they work great that way too.
Gold Rope Hoop Earrings: the trend of small gold hoops is back in full force and it reminds me so much of the 90’s and the earrings that my Mom used to wear. I got these lightweight gold rope hoops off of Amazon and they were really inexpensive and perfect to try out this new trend without committing to something expensive. I am now on the hunt for a bigger pair because while I do like these, I just can’t get down with small earrings on me.
Heated & Weighted Shoulder/Neck Pad: I have several of these as well but what I like about this MyCare one is that it is weighted and heavy, so not only do you get the heat therapy like you would with any other heated shoulder pad, you also get the weighted effect of forcing your neck and shoulders to relax. I love the MyCare products because they are much better made than most of the other cheaper ones on Amazon and they stay nice for a long time- I think I had my other one almost a year before I accidentally ruined it by trying to wash it.
Mack’s Slimfit Earplugs: I wasn’t on board with earplugs until I realized that they make slimfit versions! Rob has had earplugs for years and I always tried to use them but they would never fit in my ears and I just assumed all earplugs were the same. I noticed these pop up on my Amazon one day and ordered them. Rob gets up super early and despite having 3 air purifiers running in our bedroom, I still manage to hear him every morning and it was messing with my sleep patterns. These Mack’s SlimFit are super easy to wear and they stay in my ears all night.
Matching Workout Set: I am not the kind of person that is going to wear a sports bra and workout leggings alone, but this set is super cute to wear with a workout tank. This set from Amazon is really affordable and comes in tons of color options, so if you are trying to get fit for the new year check out this set.
Epsom Salts with Eucalyptus: We go through bath salts so quickly in our house and while I do love the specialized ones, we have to have these just to have around because they are the cheapest on Amazon and you get the most amount.
Rose & Sandlewood Candle: as a self-professed candle lover, I will try any candle and this one was highly rated on Amazon and I love anything that is Rose scented and the sandlewood combination seems like a lovely pairing.
Matching Sweater Set: if you want to lounge around in something cute and fashionable, but still cozy and comfortable, run and get this set on Amazon. It comes in tons of colors and for someone who is a hot sleeper like me, the shorts are the perfect.
Joint Pain Bath Salts: So these bath salts are pricier and the canister is small, but they really do work — but use sparingly. The only disadvantage is that it turns the bath water bright yellow and it ends up looking like pee water 😛
White Button Up Dress: I have been on the hunt for a nice white button down shirt dress for some time now. I really like this one from Amazon, though I wouldn’t say my hunt is over quite yet. It’s comfortable and doesn’t seem to wrinkle too bad, but I am concerned it may be a tad too short for me. I’m 5’4″ for reference and would want tights on if I were to wear this out of the house.
Valentine’s Day Decor Strands: I love decorating for Valentine’s Day for some reason and I found these cute heart banners that come with 4 for $11!
