Today I want to share with you all a really cool app I’ve recently started using called Ibotta. It is a free app that gives you real cash back on the things you buy every day. There are five ways to save money using the Ibotta app and chrome browser extension:
- Earn cash back on groceries
- Earn cash back on online shopping
- Earn cash back on purchases with a gift card
- Earn extra cash back with bonuses
- Earn cash back referring friends
Ibotta is an American mobile technology company based in Denver, Colorado that enables users to earn cash back on in-store, mobile app, and online purchases.
Let’s say you want to earn cash back while you’re grocery shopping, here’s what you need to do:
First, you will need to open the Ibotta app and tap Grocery on the home screen. From there, find the local grocery store you are shopping in and browse available offers. To add offers, tap the blue plus sign on the screen. After adding offers and completing your shopping trip, tap Redeem on the home screen where you will choose the store you shopped and scan a photo of your receipt. Want to make sure you didn’t miss a deal? Scan the barcodes of everything you purchased just in case. That’s it! Your cash back will be credited to your Ibotta earnings within 48 hours!
Okay, now let’s say you want to earn cash back on those late night online shopping and McDonald’s orders. I can’t be the only one! Well, we’re in luck, you can earn cash back on your entire purchase with Ibotta.
Of course, Install the Ibotta browser extension from the Chrome Store. Log into the Ibotta browser extension on the sign in page. When you go to a supported retailer, the extension will pop up in the upper-right corner of your screen. Select Activate in the extension window to activate cash back. It’s really simple and now every time I go to a participating retailer website, the Ibotta box just pops up!
