I think this might be my first ever beauty empties post because it takes a LONG time for me to go through any sort of product and most of the time I am trying several different things at once since that’s just how I am, so this post should say a lot about these products. Also just to note, none of this is sponsored in any way and some of these products it took me 6 months to finish and others just under a month.
Rembrandt Intense Stain Whitening Toothpaste: I am really picky about toothpaste, specifically the texture and taste. I tend to like toothpastes that have a gritty texture and for some reason they always have to be white. I also don’t really like toothpastes with flavors that are too overpowering. I saw someone on IG talking about this Rembrandt toothpaste being great for teeth whitening so I ordered a two pack. I wouldn’t say that it’s drastically different than any other whitening toothpaste I’ve used in the past, but I do like the taste and did notice that my teeth looked whiter from consistent use.
St. Tropez Sunless Tan Remover Foam: I don’t know what I did before discovering sunless tanner REMOVER foam and the exfoliating mitt, but when it’s time for an old and lingering spray tan to go, there is nothing that works better than this combo. I have gone through about 4 bottles of this foam and freak out when I’m running low. I am naturally the palest human alive, so when any sunless tanner starts to fade away I end up looking like I have a skin disease.
Necessaire Eucalyptus Body Wash: Since I’m picky with toothpastes you can probably guess that I’m also picky with body washes and it says a lot that I am almost finished with this bottle of Necessaire body wash. It feels really clean to me (both the scent and how it makes my skin feel) and I also really like the packaging. I am interested in trying the other scents available in the body wash because I love the smell of Bergamot and apparently they make a Bergamot scented one.
Loving Tan Express 2 Hour Mousse Medium: this sunless tanning foam is my ride or die, most favorite tanner out there, never without product. I have tried SO many sunless tanners and the Loving Tan Express Mousse is by far the best – nothing compares. I use a mitt to apply and as it says, in 2 hours you are just as dark as if you went and got a professional spray tan. I’ve even showered right after the 2 hour mark and the color is still just as dark.
OCuSOFT Lid Scrub Plus: if you have any kind of seasonal or indoor allergies at all, do yourself a solid and order these right now. I didn’t even know these existed before this year and I feel like I’ve been living under a rock because no one told me about them! These little individually packaged wipes are medicated with a special solution that helps soothe and treat itchy, sore, allergy eyes. I have tried all 3 versions and the PLUS is my personal favorite, followed by the allergy.
Dr. Devgan Hyaluronic Serum: I know it seems like every product out there right now has hyaluronic acid in it, but really it comes down to the quality of the ingredients and I can tell you that Dr. Devgan’s HA serum makes my face feel far superior than other HA serums I’ve used in the past. I love how simple this product is – it’s strictly hyaluronic acid and helps to moisturize and plump the skin while also making it look dewy and radiant.
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wands: I was never one of those people that could master contouring with a bronzing powder, so when these little light wands came out I knew I had to try them. I am no expert at makeup and quite honestly still rock a crooked winged eyeliner look every once a while, so if something is easy to me then it has to be foolproof, and that’s how I feel about these light wands by Charlotte Tilbury. I use the medium colored one for bronzing and contouring and I use the pillow talk one for highlighting.
Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Bronzing Primer: if I had to pick a favorite beauty product of 2020, this D-Bronzi “sunshine serum” would be at the top of the list. I love sunless tanning, but I really don’t like to put sunless tanner on my face because it always ends up making me feel like my pores look dirty. Enter the sunshine serum – I apply this right before foundation or sometimes in place of foundation and it’s like you have an instant tan and glow. It’s not a sunless tanner, so once you wipe it off it’s gone, but it’s great for leaving the house, photos, and appearing like you have that natural sun-kissed glow look.
Tula Face Perfecting Primer: I switch back and forth between this Tula Primer and the Estee Lauder primer, but truth be told I actually prefer the Tula Primer, but I’ve just been out for a couple of months. This primer works to blur any imperfections and sets the stage for any foundation or powder. I actually wore this alone sometimes too and it gave the look of a BB cream.
Native No Baking Soda Deodorant: I tried Native a couple of years ago and hated it, but I just hadn’t found their “no baking soda” line, which was a game changer for me. I can’t really do any deodorants with strong smells or tons of chemicals, so this one is perfect because it has a light scent that I barely notice and doesn’t cause me to itch since it doesn’t contain baking soda. I do have to apply this twice a day if it’s hot because it doesn’t work as well as the traditional antiperspirants we’re used to, but I do think it works better than some other natural deodorants that I’ve tried.
HelloBody Coco Rich Lip Balm: I rarely become obsessed with a lip balm because I run through them so fast and I just generally grab whatever one I have a tube of, but this Coco Kiss by Hello Body has been my lifelike the past few months and I have used almost every last bit of the product. I will definitely be repurchasing this one tomorrow.
Rhoto Cooling Eye Drops: I am an eye drop addict and have to have a bottle with me in my purse, my nightstand, and within reach if I am sitting on the couch. I not only suffer from eye allergies, but just general eye fatigue and I’ve found that these Rhoto cooling drops provide the fastest relief and just make your sore eyes feel amazing.
