This post evolved from me sharing on IG Story (watch here) a very simple makeup routine that included a few recent drugstore buys, as well as some PR products sent to me by Tula. If you follow along on my stories then you know I’ve been growing out my eyelashes since quarantine started and I was no longer able to get my lash extensions. This has been a really long process, but I’m actually happy I’ve been forced to go through with it. My lashes are the longest they’ve ever been! Check out a few of the products below that I’m using that have helped them grow.
Pura D’Or Castor Oil – I have been using this on the regular to help my eyelashes grow and it has made a huge difference. This castor oil came with a small tube that has a eyelash wand in it which makes it super easy to apply to your eyelashes.
Voluminous Superstar Mascara – I was in need of mascara recently and decided to add this to my instacart order on a whim and ended up really liking it. It is a duel ended wand with one end being the lash primer that helps your lashes appear longer and thicker. I definitely recommend this as a low cost drugstore mascara option.
MegaSlim Skinny Mascara – I ordered this the same time I ordered the other mascara because I always use a mascara with a thinner/smaller wand on my lower lashes. This helps avoid getting any clumps or makeup on your face. I ended up liking this mascara as well and would say it’s a good option if you’re in need of low cost drugstore mascara that has a thinner wand.
Dr. Devgan Platinum Lip Plump – This is a must in my makeup routine lately. I apply it a few minutes before the rest of my makeup is finished and let it do it’s magic before I apply my lip liner and lipstick. This product is seriously amazing! I also use the lash serum by Dr. Devgyn.
Tula Glow Hour Eye Balm – Tula sent me this in their recent PR box and it says it’s meant to be used under your eyes, I guess over your concealer, but it’s literally orange so that was a no for me. Not sure if I’m just not the right skin tone for this particular product or what, but it I did try it on my cheekbones and liked the highlight it gave me.
Tula Signature Glow Face Mist – This face mist also came with the recent PR box Tula sent me and I do really like it. You spray it all over your face after you’ve applied all your makeup. It’s not a setting spray, but offers instant moisture and is supposed to brighten your skin. It also has a really refreshing smell and feels nice, so it’s perfect to mist throughout the day.
