If you follow me on IG stories you’ve probably seen a lot of these items already, but I wanted to have everything in one concise place because these are all items I get asked about a lot and I want to all of the links in one place 🙂 I love to mix highs and lows with my fashion and the same goes for my beauty and skincare items. There are some expensive things that I think are 100% worth it, but there are also a lot of inexpensive things that work just as good, if not better than pricier options.
WOW Shampoo & Conditioner Set– I was browsing Amazon’s bestselling beauty items and this shampoo and conditioner set was very highly ranked. I ordered it and was very impressed after the first use. The shampoo is clarifying and gets rid of build-up and residue on your scalp and smells like apples. I usually use whatever shampoo I have laying around because I’m more picky about conditioners, but I really like this shampoo. The conditioner is a moisturizing conditioner and smells like coconuts.
Explore Naturals Deodorant– you’ve probably seen me talking about this deodorant before because it has been my favorite natural deodorant for a while. I recently ordered my old faithful, Cashmere Mist, because I think I just may not be cut out for natural deodorants. However, this Explore Naturals one was my favorite of the 294890840 ones that I tried.
Dermaroller Device– If you want to get messy, feel free to get a 1.0 or 1.5 mm length dermaroller. If you just want to make your facial products absorb better and go low and slow, get the .25 dermaroller. Essentially, a .25mm dermaroller isn’t really going to puncture the skin unless you press way hard and go over the same area 10 times. The .25 roller is a great place to start and isn’t painful at all. I always recommend this one to people when they ask me for a dermaroller recommendation.
Facial Steamer– you haven’t lived until you’ve used a facial steamer. Sure, there are tons of benefits for your skin like cleansing your pores and enhancing circulation, but I just love it because it feels nice and clears my sinuses. The facial steamer will also open up your pores so that your skin will better receive your lotions, serums, and moisturizers. Another tip is to use the facial steamer when you’re sick – it will clear you up so you can breathe again.
Simply Body Wipes– Listen, I think we’ve all been there when we’ve sweat down there and you just feel kind of icky. I am kind of obsessive about clean pits and clean privacy area and I have fallen in love with these Simply cleansing wipes for the lady parts. I throw several in my purse and will use them during the day when I need a little refresh. I also use them on my armpits after showering and before deodorant. They come in several scents, but so far my favorite scent is the coconut.
Ice Roller– do we even need to talk about this again? If you’ve followed me for more than a week you probably know that this is my #1 ride-or-die favorite face product. I ice roll in the morning when I wake up and at night before I go to bed. Ice rolling is good for circulation, acne, skin tightening and toning, sinus pressure, headaches, tension … the list goes on and on! I currently have 4 ice rollers in my freezer at all times because I get so paranoid that I will not have one available. For $12 you really can’t go wrong with this thing.
NuDerm High Frequency Device– this is a new to me facial device that uses high frequency to smooth skin, even out skintone, decrease pore size and help with acne. It comes with several different attachments for different areas of the face. My favorite attachment so far has been the mushroom (what I’m holding in the above picture). This thing will shock you if you start it out on the highest frequency (take it from me), so make sure to start out on 1 and then work your way up to 4.
NassifMD Detox Pads– are you lazy about your skincare? Are you looking for one product to just help your skin out but you’re lazy? These NassifMD Detox Pads are exactly what you need! These are gentle enough to use every single day, but effective enough to actually make noticeable changes in your skin. I use these after I’ve washed my face and before I apply serums or moisturizers. I’ve tried a lot of peel pads in the past and these are by far my favorite.
Admire My Skin Serum– this serum has kind of gone viral over the last month on several websites and morning shows. People’s before and after pictures are crazy and in 4 weeks it basically erased sun damage and freckles. I kept getting asked if I’d tried this yet, so I finally decided to order it. This powerful serum contains hydroquinone, lactic acid, mandelic acid, salacytic acid, and vitamin C – basically a combination of every power ingredient you can find. At just $23 the price is right and it has over 4,000 4 star reviews on Amazon. I’ve only used it for two days, so it’s hard for me to give a good review. So far I am liking it- it’s already evening out my skintone and reducing the size of my pores.
Migraine Stick Roller– You all know I loved my Peppermint Halo roller, but after they stopped carrying it on Amazon I randomly found this Migraine Stick roller and I like it just as well. It’s also way cheaper and is basically composed of the same ingredients, so it’s a win-win. I roll this all over my neck and temples when I have a headache or any tension at all and it helps so much. I will also roll it all over my shoulders when I’m stressed or having anxiety and it seems to help with that as well.
Kallea Deep Cleansing Wipes– I like to double cleanse my face at the end of the day, meaning that I will first go in with a makeup cleansing wipe and then I will go to the bathroom and actually wash my face with a foaming facial cleanser. I have tried a lot of makeup wipes in the past and I typically end up hating them because they leave a weird greasy or sticky residue. These wipes from Amazon are my all-time favorites because they don’t only take off your makeup, but they deep clean as well with several ingredients that help your skintone and skin texture.
Gaiyah Self Tanning Mitt– I use a lot of at-home sunless tanners and most of them are in the form of a mousse, which can get really messy if you don’t wear gloves or a mitt. I’ve tried several of the name brand mitts and ordered this one on Amazon because I was tired of going through the other ones so fast. I’ve been using this brown glove like mitt for 2 months and I love it so much more than any of the other ones I used. First of all, it’s a really soft material so you don’t feel like you are scrapping your skin. Second, it’s already brown in color so it doesn’t look messy or stained.
These two wouldn’t fit on my ottoman for the main picture 😛 I still wanted to include them though because the facial scrubber is one of my favorite little gadgets.
Pink Pearl Body Glitter Lotion– it’s amazing what some old school body glitter/shimmer lotion will do for your legs. If you want to instantly tone and tighten the appearance of your legs, I would recommend getting some sort of shimmer body lotion. I have tried a ton that were way too overpriced, so I was happy to find this cheap one on Amazon.
Facial Scraper– I tend to have a lot of blackheads on my nose and most of the time I just deal with them or ignore them but here lately they have been extra black and I had to put a stop to them! I got this facial scrubber a few months ago and have loved using it for scrapping away blackheads. It’s a little handheld device that vibrates and you glide it along wet skin and it collects the blackheads as you slide it. It’s actually pretty gross and you end up wiping away so much dirt and blackheads.
