I wore this outfit in New Hampshire and I really loved this oversized sweater. I used to hate “front tucking”, but with huge oversized sweaters like this one it helps to tuck a little bit so you don’t look like you’re wearing a trash bag as a shirt. I will say that this sweater is much more of an orangey tan than a brown tan like it looks online. I have been pleasantly surprised with these $52 jeans from VICI (you can use my code for 20% off) because they have held their shape, fit perfectly, and are the perfect length (I am 5’4″).

It finally got cold here in Memphis and I honestly couldn’t believe it. It typically stays pretty hot here until at least November, so the premature cold temps surprised us! I quickly realized when it got cold that I do not have enough fall basic sweaters and scarves. I actually donated and sold a lot of my scarves from last year and cleared out some space in my closet. I decided to place some orders this past weekend for some good fall basics and this is what all I got:
Ivory Scarf: I have last year’s version of this scarf and it was one of my favorite and most used purchases for the fall and winter. I love this ivory color and I feel like it would go with almost anything. This scarf comes in a ton of other colors and is so soft and cozy! I got the ivory color as well as the terracotta.
White Oversized Sweater: I have a feeling this is going to be the “it sweater” this season. I have seen several gals wearing this on IG and try-on sessions and I went to the store to try it on this past weekend. I loved it so much, but my store didn’t have the size and color combination that I needed so I ordered online. I ended up getting the oatmeal and grey colors and I ordered a size small.
Buckle Booties: you all know that I am a hoarder of booties and when I saw these with the huge buckle I just knew that I had to have them! I wear booties with everything pretty much all fall and winter, so I can always justify another pair. I am envisioning these with tights and a sweater dress.
Ice Massaging Balls: I’ve talked ad nauseam about my obsession with ice rolling and how it’s helped my skin (read more here), and I am now taking it to the next level with these ice balls! These work essentially the same as an ice roller, but they are smaller and easier to use around the eye area. I will report back and let you all know how I like these.
Zit Patches: I may be late to the party on these hydrocolloid acne patches, but WOW, they really work! I suffer from hormonal acne around my time of the month and get those deep and pus filled zits. You slap one of these patches on top of the zit and in a couple of hours it sucks up all of the pus and oil and you’re left with a flat red spot on your face, which is much easier to cover up than a huge bump.
Tan Booties: you can never have too many tan suede booties, right? I have been wearing the heck out of the Vince Camuto ones that are in the pictures above, but the thing about them that I don’t like is that the sides are cut out and you can’t really wear socks. I like these new tan booties that I’m linking because they come up high and are a great heel height.
Diptyque Perfume: I’m all about fragrances and I’ve heard great things about this Diptyque scent, Tam Dao. This perfume is a floral woody musk scent with top notes of rose, myrtle and Italian cypress; middle notes of sandalwood and cedar and base notes of spices, amber, white musk and Brazilian rosewood.
Plaid Scarf: I love everything that Blair from Atlantic Pacific wears, so naturally I had to get at least one item from her recently launched collection with Nordstrom. I love a good scarf and this one will be cute for fall and winter.
Oversized Cable Knit Sweater: One of my favorite outfits to wear when it starts getting cooler is an oversized sweater with leggings and boots. This oversized sweater is only $33 and will be great for everyday wear.
