Easy and Effortless Mixing and Matching
I have really wanted to put together a small fall capsule wardrobe for you guys with some great basic pieces that can be mixed and matched many ways throughout the rest of the year. I’ve purchased a few things here and there, mostly from Nordstrom and Amazon, and I am going to style these things differently each week for you all to give ideas of all of the ways you can wear things. The first look is featuring the two Amazon skirts that are only $29.99 and come in about 10 colors. I chose the olive green and the black because those are colors I tend to gravitate towards in the fall. I think any pair of booties would have gone with these outfits, but I chose my snakeskin ones because snakeskin is huge this fall and you have to have at least one pair of fun shoes. The leather and suede moto jackets are kind of pricey but you can really find a moto jacket at any price point. I also love this one for under 200 and this one for under 100.
What is a Capsule Wardrobe?
I’m sure you all have heard this term thrown around a lot lately and basically it just means that you take a handful of items and get them in a couple of colors each to mix and match within those pieces for that season. So for instance you’d get two skirts, two jeans, two booties, two sweaters, two jackets, a hat, a bag and that would be your capsule wardrobe that you could mix and match from.
Next week I am going to show you another way you can style these two skirts with a really affordable sweater from Amazon and some different boots. The skirt really is a great deal and it comes in so many other colors like a fun pink and red color and also a salmon and yellow color.
