I wanted to get this post up a week ago, but I was gone for a work meeting and it just didn’t happen. Sometimes it’s hard to balance it all, and last week was definitely one of those weeks. I placed my Sephora sale order last weekend, but I am definitely going to place another order tonight or tomorrow because I discovered 10 other things I wanted just from making this collage 😛
St. Tropez Tanning Mousse– I really love the color that this OG St. Tropez bronzing mousse gives. If I am wanting to look pretty dark (for me) I will use this after showering. Make sure you use a mitt- I’ve used my hands several times out of pure laziness and I always end up with dirty looking palms.
Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask– this is one of my favorite face masks of all time because it truly tightens your skin and makes it glow after one use. I haven’t had this in a while because I ran out a long time ago, but it’s currently in my cart and I can’t wait to use it again!
St. Tropez Facial Tanning Mist– I love the way I look when I get a spray tan, but I really hate the whole process and I’m really lazy, so I definitely hate putting on sunless tanner myself. In the spring and summer I will usually just use a natural glow face tanner, but sometimes I feel like the lotion ones interrupt my everyday skincare routine. I found this St. Tropez face mist sunless tanner and I absolutely love it. It goes on really easily and has a really natural color that develops.
Summer Fridays Jetlag Mask– I actually haven’t tried this mask yet, but it has rave reviews and I’ve heard a lot of buzz, so I ordered it to try out. This brand also makes 2 other masks that I want to try as well. I will report back with my thoughts as soon as I try it!
Tarte Duo Eyeliner– I’m always on the hunt for the best liquid eyeliner and I feel like I’ve tried every one out there, but this Tarte duo liner not only has a liquid side, but a pencil side too for those days when you just need something simple. I also haven’t experienced any drying out and I’ve had this one for a couple of months.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Balm– I suffer from really bad chapped lips and used Carmex for years because it was the only lip balm that I thought worked. I’ve tried all kinds of other “miracle” chapsticks that did nothing, but this First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair lip balm is AMAZING and keeps my lips moisturized for hours.
Slip Silk Pillowcase– I don’t know how I survived without my silk pillowcase. I swear this thing helps with wrinkles and making your hair smooth. I honestly can’t sleep with any other pillowcase now and if I travel and forget to take my silk pillowcase I really do not sleep as well.
It Cosmetics Illuminating CC Cream– So I’ve been looking for a new foundation for months, I haven’t found anything that I liked until this itCosmetics CC cream. I was debating between the regular and illuminating, and got the illuminating. I’m obsessed! Gives great coverage without being heavy and gives a gorgeous glow. It is a must to use the itComsetics with a damp beauty blender, it will create a soft glow and it’s perfect! I find that I like a more dewy finish over matte as I get older and these products together master that.
Ouai Leave In Conditioner– this is my new favorite spray in conditioner for my massively tangled weave. I spray this on when I get out of the shower and it makes combing through my rat’s nest a breeze. I will warn you though, it has a pretty strong smell, so if you don’t like scented products I would definitely skip this one.
Olaplex Number 3– I know I’ve talked about this one before many times, but it really is a great product and makes your hair so soft. This is a conditioning treatment that you use before you take a shower. I usually do the Olaplex 3 once a week and apply it about 30 minutes before taking a shower.
Tarte Tease Eyeshadow Palette– I just love all of Tarte’s eyeshadow palettes … you really can’t go wrong with any of them. I have been using this tease palette for the last few weeks and I really like how light and springy the colors are without being too overpowering.
Slip Silk Hair Scrunchies– I am addicted to scrunchies to begin with, but silk scrunchies will change your life. I love scrunchies because they don’t pull your hair, hurt your scalp, or cause lines or damage in your hair. I will use one of these at night once I’ve got my hair wrapped up in a bun and this scrunchie makes sure I can wake up with no lines in my hair. It definitely helps to extend the life of my curls and hair style when I’m trying to go a few days without washing.
Maison Louise Marie Travel Perfume– this is another thing that I ordered but I’ve never smelled it or tried it before 😛 I have always heard great things about this scent, so I decided to order the travel spray to see what the hype is about. I will definitely let you all know how I like it.
