You all know I am all about the PRP Microneedling, aka the “Vampire Facial” (you can read about my last one here). I just recently signed up for a series of six to really amp up my skin and continue with my quest for baby skin. I’m not going to go through all of the steps since I did that in the last post, but today I’m going to talk about the benefits of getting the vampire facial and what results you can expect. For this treatment I’ve been going to Germantown Aesthetics in Germantown, Tennessee just right outside of Memphis.
I admit that I’ve had traditional microneedling done in the past (about 5 years ago) and wasn’t really impressed. I don’t know if it was old technology, the technician, or both, but I really didn’t see much of an improvement and I got 4 sessions. The difference in traditional microneedling and the PRP microneedling is that your blood is drawn and your platelets are separated from your blood and that is what is microneedled into your face. Plasma Rich Platelets have long been known for their regenerative properties and their ability to heal the skin.
Your body’s own PRP is smeared on your face in sections and the Skinpen (just a motorized pen with needles) is used to microneedle the liquid gold into your skin. When the procedure is finished they will apply one last coat of the PRP to stay on your face for a few hours. That night you can wash your face with a gentle cleanser and you are just left with slightly red skin. It’s been a week since my vampire facial and my skin is totally back to normal already. I have noticed that my pores are much smaller and my skintone is even and smooth. It will only get better as my treatments progress. Check out some of these amazing before and after pictures I found online of people’s progress with PRP Mirconeeding:

As you can see, this procedure is great for anyone wanting to minimize their pore size, work on acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin texture and tone, hyperpigmentation, and all kinds of other things. A series of 4-6 is recommended to see maximum results. I am telling y’all, you can’t just get one of these and expect amazing things, you need to do a series.
As always, I am here to bring some deals to you all and I’m excited to announce that Germantown Aesthetics has extended a 10% discount off any of their services for PIPM readers. Just call and mention the discount promo and they will take care of you!
