Holiday Fragrance Gift with Chanel

3 Destination Based Fragrances

My favorite scent of the three was most definitely Venise which I’ve always loved Chanel Fragrances ever since I was in high school and old enough to troll beauty departments at local malls 😛 The Chanel classics have always been a staple for my fragrance collection and I recently had the chance to try out the 3 fragrances that make up the Les Eaux de Chanel which are destination based fragrances that evoke a scent from their respective cities- how cool is that? The 3 cities are Venise, Deauville, and Biaritz.  

My favorite scent of the three was definitely Paris-Venise which combines Neroli, Vanilla, and Tonka. Essence of Neroli illuminates the warm tones of an oriental accord with notes of Vanilla and Tonka.  Deaville is inspired by a city between land and sea, where Gabrielle Chanel opened her first boutique, Paris-Deauville encapsulates the idyllic charm of the open air.  Finally, Paris-Biarritz is inspired by the pure air and energy of the Basque coast, and captures the spirit and freedom of this seaside town. 

I think fragrances are the perfect gift for the holiday season because that scent will forever be associated with that moment in time for the gift receiver.  I have a lot of perfumes that I received for gifts in years past and I always get excited to wear them because they remind me of that particular occasion.  Do you all like receiving perfumes as gifts?

    I love Chanel fragrances. My daughter gives me Chanel Chance yearly at Christmas. It’s my very favorite.

    I love getting fragrance as a gift! Whether it be a tried and true signature scent or one that someone thinks I might like, its nice to receive either way!

    Oh my gosh I didn’t know these existed! I’m not a huge fan of Chanel No. 5 because it doesn’t smell good on me, but I think these might work (it’s always been a huge tragedy to me that Chanel doesn’t work on me!).
