Hey there friends! It’s been a crazy few weeks with the busy Holiday season and I haven’t been able to get on here as much as I’ve wanted. As you all know, I also work a full-time job in addition to blogging, so sometimes it’s really hard to balance it all. Instead of trying to be proactive and make the most of my time on the weekends by scheduling blog posts, I’ve been so worn out and just procrastinate until I don’t have any time to do anything. Does anyone else operate like this when they get really busy? It’s almost like my brain can’t multitask, so it just shuts down and will put things off until they absolutely have to be done. I think that might just be called being a procrastinator, who knows.
Anyways, you may have noticed that my hair magically grew about 4 inches 😉 If you watch my insta-stories you got to see the behind-the-scenes videos from my Natural Beaded Rows hair extensions experience in Nashville this past weekend. I went to the amazing Angie Goff, one of the only NBR certified stylists in Tennessee and she did an AMAZING job. I will have a fully dedicated post answering ALL of your questions next week with tons of pictures, so stay tuned. I’ve actually never had hair extensions before so this is all new to me and this method is apparently the least damaging and actually encourages new hair growth.
Okay, so I’m wearing the very popular Stuart Weitzman Highland OTK boots in this picture (they are on sale here), but it got me thinking if these boots are really worth the price. The retail on them is close to $800 which is just so expensive for a pair of shoes. I have had a lot of the dupes out there to these boots, and I will say that the Stuarts are very well made and you can tell a significant difference in the quality of the material with the dupes, however, if you are on a budget or just don’t want to drop a grand on a pair of shoes, there are tons of good options. I just found these dupes on Amazon and ordered them in the tan color (available in both flat version and heel) so I’ll report back on the quality when I get them in. My absolute favorite pair of OTK boots are actually by Aquatalia and have been going strong for almost 4 years- I swear they are the most well-made pair of shoes that I have and are even waterproof!
Do you all have a pair of OTK boots you love?
This outfit is so perfect and I love the photos!
