I’ve had some questions lately regarding makeup and such that I’m wearing in my insta stories, so I decided to make one huge concise post about what all I put on my face, hair, body, etc. I am also going to list everywhere that I go in Memphis for my stuff, so stay tuned to the end of the post for that information.
Let’s start off with makeup! I’ve found a couple of palettes that I really like and have been using for several months. I’ve also found some scents that I think are perfect for fall and winter. Read below the collage for the details on each item.
Benefit Hello Happy Foundation– I randomly popped into Sephora needing a new foundation and this one caught my eye with the words “soft blur foundation”. I decided to give it a try and I am really pleased with the results.
Too Faced Natural Face Palette– this is one of my all time favorite palettes because not only does it smell amazing, it has such great highlighters, blushes, and bronzers all in one palette.
Tarteist On-the-go Eye Palette– I have been loving the colors in this palette for fall because the darker wine colors look great in the crease of the eyelid.
Beauty Blender– this is my ride or die and how I apply foundation, concealer, and how I will bake my undereye area with powder.
Pat McGrath Labs Eyeliner– this was recommended by someone at Sephora and I am glad I took her advice because this liner is the bomb!
Kerstin Florian SPF 30 Day Cream– I got this for free from a goodie bag in Destin, Florida and I absolutely love this day cream with SPF 30. It smells so good and goes on smooth and doesn’t feel greasy.
Lipsmart Chapstick– this stuff will change your life if you have chapped lips like me. Trust me, you need some.
Pixi Matte Lipgloss– every single time I wear this color in my stories I always get asked what lipstick I am wearing. I love these Pixi matte lipglosses and the color I always wear is Pink Pretty something.
By Killian Moonlight in Heaven– this scent is by far one of the most intoxicating scents that I’ve ever smelled. I really don’t think I would have even approached the bottle in a store except for the fact that one of my friends who works in the cosmetics department at Nordstrom told me about it. I now have a small sample size and I milking it until I have to buy the large size.
Tom Ford Lost Cherry– this is a new Tom Ford scent and it smells SO GOOD. You will either love it or hate it and I absolutely love it. I can’t wait to purchase it when Nordstrom does a scent event in a few days.
Now let’s move on to hair- I get so many questions about what I use on my hair to make it look so full and what kind of curling iron that I use. I am here to lay it all out for you with everything that I use on my hair.
Kerastase Reflection Line– I really love this line of shampoo and conditioner because it makes my hair very sleek and shiny.
iRestore Anti-Hair Loss Shampoo– I use this shampoo a couple of times a week to prevent excess shedding and to help with hair growth.
Sugarbear Hair Vitamins– I know these are cheesy, but I take two a day and I swear they’ve helped my hair get as long as it is today.
Nioxin Scalp Treatment– I use this at the top of my scalp because I have a bad habit of picking my scalp when I get nervous, so I always want to be promoting new growth up there.
Moroccan Oil Light– After I comb out my hair from being in the shower I will apply a full pump of this to the ends of my hair and the front face framing pieces.
WetBrush– I have used this for years and it’s still my favorite way to detangle my wet hair.
Travel Smart Curling Iron– I used to use the T3 curling iron and then one day I took this Travel Smart curling iron to Europe and realized it gave way better curls than the T3 and for a fraction of the price.
Goody Scrunchies– I am never not with a scrunchie after 5pm … as soon as I get home I throw my hair up in a scrunchie.
Teasing Comb– when I want to get really fancy, I will tease the top of my hair to make it look like I have lots of volume.
And yet another very popular question that I receive is “what do you use on your face”? Well, I use a lot on my face and it is constantly being switched up as I’m trying new products that get sent to me and playing with the new and hot product of the month, but these are a few items that I can’t live without.
Jade Roller– the jade roller is MY LIFE right now. I jade roll almost every night and make sure to use the smaller side to roll my undereye bags. Jade rolling helps with lymphatic drainage and just smoothing out small superficial lines and wrinkles.
Silk Pillowcase– I don’t know how I survived without my silk pillowcase. I swear this thing helps with wrinkles and making your hair smooth. Plus with eyelash extensions it’s nice to not wake up with them going all over the place.
NuFace Device– okay, so here’s the deal with this thing. It works. It works really well. But you HAVE to be consistent with it because once you stop using it the results go away.
Saje Peppermint Halo Oil– this stuff is amazing and I use it almost every night on the back of my neck and temples. It’s especially great if you ever have headaches or migraines. I seriously will buy stock in this stuff.
TruSkin Vitamin C Serum– this is what I’m currently using as a night serum because it includes hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and C and goes on really smooth.
Neocutis Eye Cream– I’ve tried a lot of eye creams in the past and I swear this one is the only one where I can actually tell that it’s working
The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Cream– this stuff is so cheap and very effective. If you are looking for a light exfoliator in a cream form, this is for you.
Real Raw Beauty Green Tea & Algae Mask– I love this mask because after I take it off my face is so smooth and plumped.
Colleen Rothschild Detox Mask– this mask is great if you are having a breakout or just need a good pore cleaning session.
