I can’t tell you how many trips I’ve been on lately where I realize half way through the trip that I packed ALL the wrong shoes. Whether they are rubbing the back of my heel, squishing my toes, causing pain when walking … you name it! I’ve even packed flat boots thinking they would have to be comfortable because they’re FLAT and low and behold a few hours into wearing them I have a blister on the back of my heel. I have become very strategic now when packing to make sure that I am packing shoes that are not only stylish, but comfortable as well.
I recently discovered these Dansko black Hartley booties on Zappos and the number one thing that sold me was that they had a soft and breathable leather lining. Dansko has always been known to me to be shoes that feel good on your feet- all day, every day. And I didn’t realize before this that they had so many cute styles available on Zappos. It’s like a win-win since Zappos is pretty much my go-to website for shoe shopping. Zappos won me over a long time ago with their fast shipping and great customer service.
Anyways, back to the point of this post- if you have an upcoming trip planned and you know that you’re going to do a lot of walking, yet you still want to look cute … these Hartley booties are for you! I can’t quite explain how comfortable they are, but I walked around all day in them and felt like I was wearing tennis shoes. They also come in a few different colors- I had a hard time choosing between the black and the Grey Nubuck.
So tell me, what are your favorite kind of shoes for walking around on a trip in the fall or winter?
They DO look ultra comfy. With my boots I like a lower heel. Love the mixed materials too.
