Yotel NYC for NYFW + Nordstrom Giveaway

September 18, 2018

Thank you to Yotel for partnering with me on this post.

When I travel I have a tendency to get overwhelmed or stressed sometimes being out of my comfort zone and in unfamiliar places.  Despite the fact that I’ve been to NYC several times in the past, I now have a new ritual of staying at the Yotel in NYC because I swear it feels like home! It’s especially crucial to have a good home base during the hectic and chaotic times of Fashion Week, and I loved being able to come back to my little cabin at night to chill and unwind.

I’ve said it before about the Yotel and I’ll say it again, you aren’t going to find anywhere in NYC that is as clean and efficient as the rooms at the Yotel.  Plus you are like 4 blocks over from Times Square and can get anywhere in the city very easily.  The rooms are affordable because they serve the purpose of a room to sleep in and function in.  If you’re trying to have a party in your room, it may be too small, but if you’re just trying to have a home base to leave your stuff, explore the city, and come back to chill out and get some rest, then the Yotel is perfect for you.

This trip we got to experience the full dining options available at Yotel by partaking in their Terrace meal service (the terrace is so beautiful FYI) and we also dined in at their restaurant Green Fig, which was delicious.  I highly enjoyed sitting out on the terrace for some drinks and just to chill out from the chaos of the day.  Located within YOTEL on ‘FOUR’, Green Fig offers fusion Middle Eastern, North African and Southern European cuisines. Boasting a menu that serves breakfast, brunch and dinner, Green Fig ranks amongst the best restaurants in Midtown, NYC.

Overall, we highly enjoyed our stay at Yotel NYC and we are already planning our return in February for Fashion Week.  It’s so nice knowing exactly where you are going to stay each time and to not have to deal with the hassle of finding a hotel.  I know that I am in good hands with Yotel.

We, too, like to stay at the same hotels when we travel to a few of our favorite places because it seriously does feel like home and takes the anxiety/nervousness out of traveling!
