I went into Esthetiques this time saying that my complexion was dull and I felt like I looked tired. Owner and master aesthetician, Brandi, suggested a custom treatment with the goal of a bright and lifted complexion with fewer breakouts. Brandi did a mild lactic peel followed by the Nano facial (micro-channeling using nano technology for a non invasive approach). After the nano facial, she selected a cinnamon algae peel off mask that would lower the temp of the skin by 10 degrees for a firming effect. During this mask she covered my eyes and lips for lymphatic drainage. She chose cinnamon for its healing properties and because it allows for product penetration which is what she wanted as a precursor to the Korean tightening mask that stayed on during the ear candling. She applied the Korean tightening mask and allowed it to try before putting in the candle for ear candling. Let me tell you all, ear candling is the coolest thing I’ve ever done. My ears felt so clean and clear after and my sinuses were relieved for days.
She finished with Intraceuticals 3-step Hyaluronic layering process in “opulence” for brightening.
This facial was a custom facial for $250. (We are doing a series of nano facials on Megan so the extra cost would have been a $125 add on since the nano facial is part of a package) the ear candling is a Separate service but I incorporated into her facial. For ear candling we use 100% beeswax candles and I burned two candles in each ear. Ear candling can help with sinus issues, toxins, moisture, wax build-up, shampoo and soap residue, which is pulled out through the candling process.
The ear candling service is $75 and takes an hour.
Whoa ear candling sounds terrifying but it actually looks really neat! I have severe allergies so I might have to try this out.
I’ve always been sooo fascinated by ear candling and this is totally making me want to go out and finally try it!

You seem a little out of the loop-could you add some detail?
