We were so excited to visit Prague, Czech Republic. This city has been on my travel radar for years and I was very meticulous in my planning of where we would stay and what we would do in Prague. I spent a lot of time researching hotels and local attractions, and I was so excited when I reached out to Aria Hotel Prague for a blog feature and they agreed! I had read great things about Aria Hotel Prague online and was amazed at their stellar reviews on several travel websites. I am a firm believer that a hotel can make or break your stay in a foreign city, so it’s important to find somewhere that has all of the amenities that you are looking for and that has a friendly and helpful staff. The Aria Hotel Prague is a 5 start boutique hotel located in a great part of town that is close enough to all of the main attractions, but is on a quiet street that makes it seem like you aren’t in a big city. I could go on and on about all of the things that I loved about this hotel, but perhaps my favorite thing was the size of the rooms compared to other European hotels. We literally felt like we were staying in a large apartment. The room opened up into a foyer hallway that led to a large walk in closet with plenty of room to hang and organize all of your clothes. If you turned right, you entered the massive bedroom where there were not one, but two king beds. The bathroom was HUGE and we had plenty of room with the his and hers sink areas to put all of our toiletries out without feeling cramped.
The hotel offered Molton Brown products, which has long been one of my favorite brands for body wash, so it was nice to be able to use those products every day. There was also a large soaking bathtub in addition to a regular shower. I think the bathroom alone was bigger than some European hotel rooms that we’ve stayed in before.
When we weren’t sight seeing and touring around, we genuinely enjoyed hanging out in our room because it had such a good vibe. We could open up the big windows and let the fresh breeze blow in while working on the computer and catching up with blog emails. Every night the hotel would do a turn down service and bring in yummy chocolates … and you all know how I feel about sweets!
Perhaps my favorite thing about the hotel was the access to the gardens behind the premises. These gardens were absolutely breathtaking and had 4 different viewing points where you could see amazing views of the city of Prague. I would go out to these gardens every day and just wander around. There was also an abundance of fountains and koi ponds, rose gardens, and even a bird cage where several rare birds were housed. Having this right outside of the hotel was a definite game changer and really added a special touch to our stay at Aria Hotel Prague.
Overall I would give this hotel 10/10 stars – it was truly one of the nicest and most charming hotels that we’ve ever stayed in. The staff were so accommodating and friendly and would help us with any questions that we had. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning as well as the afternoon tea and snack time from 4-6pm.
If you have a visit to Prague in your future, do yourself a favor and check out Aria Hotel Prague. Even if you don’t stay here, you need to come and eat at their rooftop terrace restaurant, Coda Restaurant, and take in the views out back in the gardens.
Thank you Aria Hotel Prague for working with PIPM in exchange for an honest review of your property.
