Okay Atlanta- you aren’t perfect (especially your aggressive drivers), but I do like you! I’ve recently been to the ATL twice in one month, which basically makes me an expert (kidding!). I thought I’d pop on here and let you know my 5 favorite places in Atlanta from my short little time there lately. I always love when people share their favorite places to eat, see, shop, and play in cities I’m about to travel to, so hopefully if any of you all will be in Atlanta soon you can check these out!
ONE– Revelator’s Coffee in Westside Provisions District: this area in general is one of my favorite parts of Atlanta. It reminds me a lot of Memphis. It has an industrial and gritty feel but is home to really good shopping and cute little coffee shops like this one. This is the perfect place to grab some coffee and people watch as both times I was here it was completely packed, but dead silent (which is a funny combination). I think a lot of people were studying or just really into their work while I was there, but I really liked the vibe!
TWO– Donetto Italian Restaurant: we ate here after the RewardStyle City Tour event and it was SO good. I can’t even explain how yummy the pasta was … and they have the best dessert too! It just opened a couple of weeks ago and had such great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are coming from out-of-town and want a cool place to eat.
THREE– Piedmont Park: I really wanted to see Piedmont Park because a lot of people told me it was like a mini Central Park. It was so pretty and there were so many walking trails if you need to work out or just want to walk around and people watch.
FOUR– Hotel Indigo Midtown: if you are looking for a cool hotel that won’t break the bank I would highly recommend this Hotel Indigo. It has really fun boutique-hotel rooms and a great bar and lobby area downstairs that makes you feel like you’re in NYC. I love Hotel Indigos because they allow pets 🙂
FIVE– Inman Park Area: We ate at Fritti one night in Inman Park and this street was poppin’! There were several restaurants to choose from and you can just park along the street and walk around. I know Bar Taco is a chain, but it’s one of my favorites and there is one on this street, so that’s all the more reason you should go.
Hope you all enjoyed! What are your favorite spots in Atlanta? Be sure to check out more fashion content before you go!
I’ve only been to Atlanta once and it was more downtown. I need to explore some more areas.
I love that dress! I haven’t been to Atlanta a ton, but Bob will have to go pretty often for work in the near future; I’m hoping to tag along some and get to know the city a little better!
I am in love with the color of your dress!
I too always enjoy reading about people’s travel experiences. Thank you for sharing. And I LOVE that pink dress!!!
I’ve never visited Atlanta but I hope to do day!
I love your white booties! Love the idea of styling them with a midi dress like you did here!
