Recently I had the opportunity to check out a local salon called House of Aglaia. It’s nestled behind buildings on Merchants Row in Germantown, TN. The staff was very welcoming and everyone was so chirpy and happy to help with anything that you needed.
I typically always get some version of bayalage, so I decided to just have mine tuned up a little bit, as well as a trim to dust my ends off. I had toyed with getting eyelash extensions and it just so happens the girl who was going to be doing my hair was also their eyelash extension specialist (Lindsey) , so that was a no-brainer. The last time I had eyelash extensions was for my wedding 9 years ago and honestly I didn’t like them because they fell out within a week.
If there’s one thing I remember from the blogger conference I attended last month it’s that everyone had spray tans, hair extensions, and eyelash extensions. I knew that for NYFW I wanted my eyes to pop so I figured getting the eyelash extensions would be perfect for where I was going. Honestly I didn’t feel a thing when she was applying them. I just laid in the chair for 2 hours and almost fell asleep. I have really bad eye allergies and was expecting my eyes to water, but they didn’t at all. And here I am almost a week later and all of my lashes are still in!
If you want to try eyelash extensions with Lindsey (who seriously was the best) or get your hair done at House of Aglaia, they are offering 20% off for people who mention that PIPM sent you!
Thanks again to House of Aglaia for partnering with me and providing these services in exchange for an honest review. I promise you won’t be disappointed if you go!
