It’s that time of year when Sephora is having their VIB & Rouge Sale Event where you can get 15-20% off everything on their website & in stores. I always wait for this sale to stock up on my makeup essentials and I actually am almost completely out of everything that I use on a daily basis. I have been using a janky old eyeliner for a couple of months because I’ve been waiting for this sale!
For Rouge Members: 20FORROUGE
For VIB Members: 20forVIB
For Everyone Else: INSIDER15
Drunk Elephant Glycolic Serum– I really like this serum if you are in the market for one. It goes on light and you wake up with glowing skin. The sale is the perfect time to get this as it’s usually pretty expensive.
Farsali Unicorn Essence– This can be used as a serum but I really like to use it as a makeup primer because it allows your foundation to glide on smooth and perfect. It’s a good daily serum/moisturizer as well if you need one.
Peter Thomas Roth Acne Dots– this are great if you get zits occasionally like me because you just pop a sticker on it when you sleep and usually you wake up with a flattened zit. It doesn’t make them magically disappear, but it does help make them smaller if that makes sense.
Huda Beauty Winter Highlighting Kit– This is an item that I haven’t tried yet, but it is in my cart to purchase from the sale. I like that it’s specifically for winter so you don’t have to worry about your highlighters being too orange or bronzerish like they are when you are tanner in the summer.
Better Than Sex Mascara– before I got my lash extensions this was pretty much the only mascara that I used. I tried the dupes but the real thing was hard to match.
Dr. Dennis Gross ABA Peel Pads– these are gentle enough to use daily and will gently exfoliate your skin so that you are constantly promoting cellular turnover. I have used these for years and always stock up during the sale.
Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask– this is one of my favorite face masks of all time because it truly tightens your skin and makes it glow after one use. I haven’t had this in a while because I ran out a long time ago, but it’s currently in my cart and I can’t wait to use it again!
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette– if you need a new eyeshadow palette this one is amazing! I love all of the Naked palettes, but this one is my favorite.
Huda Beauty Filter Foundation– I haven’t used this foundation before, but it has rave reviews and it’s currently sold out online in all colors, so of course that makes me want it more! I’m gonna pop in my Sephora store tomorrow and see if they have it.
Tarte Tape Shape Concealer– I’ve heard great things about this concealer and how it doesn’t crease, which is what everyone wants in a concealer, right? This one is in my cart and ready to be purchased! I will report back with how I like it.
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm– this is one of my favorite lip treatments and a perk is that it smells amazing. If you have chapped or dry lips in the winter this lip balm is perfect for you.
Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade– as you all know I got my eyebrows microbladed and I love them, but if I am wanting to be real extra I will make them even bigger with this stuff. I’ve used it for years and it’s an all time favorite for filling in brows.
Sephora Favorites Gift Set– this is seriously the perfect gift for any beauty lover for the Holidays. This gift set includes all of the Sephora favorites and best sellers and will make any girl happy!
Sunday Riley UFO Serum– I haven’t used this but it’s in a my cart because I tend to have oily, acne-prone skin and I usually love Sunday Riley products.
Kat Von D Eyeliner– this is my favorite eyeliner pen that Sephora sells. I need to buy like 5 of these because I go through them so fast and they dry out if you don’t use them for a while.
Beauty Blender Sponge– I use this to blend in my concealer and I can’t imagine using anything else. I run mine under water for a second before using it and it creates a seamless blending.
What did you all get from the Sephora Sale?
If you’ve been following me for a while you probably know that I’ve always attributed my long eyelashes to a couple of things, one of which being the Real Raw Beauty face oil that I use to take my eye makeup off with. About a year ago, Rob and I were sitting around with his Mom and RRB creator, Jan, when we said wouldn’t it be smart to put that face oil in a mascara tube and make an eyelash serum out of it. Jan was like hellz yea and formulated a special product that contains all natural lash growth ingredients and Lash Grow was born! It has been a year in the making of formulations, testing, and product production, but it’s finally here!
I know you all are probably thinking, “but Megan, you just got lash extensions!” And I did and love them, but I actually tested the Lash Grow for 6 weeks this summer and it honestly worked just as good and if not better than all of the other lash serums that I had at the time. Jan actually had amazing results that I wanted to show you all in this picture of Jan’s results after just one month:
So if you’re in the market for an all-natural lash growth serum, give it a try! It’s only $29.99, which is way more affordable than anything else you can get for lash growth, and the best part is that it’s all organic!
